Downloads available

The six databases are available as downloads in the form of compressed folders. In each case the folder contains an html file and a tab delimited file.

The html file may be stored on your PC and opened with an ordinary web browser; the browser’s search facility may then be used for simple searches.

For more complex operations (eg sorting the lists in a different order or altering the data) you will need to move the data to a spreadsheet or database table. How this is done will depend on the software that you use. For example in OpenOffice Calc the tab delimited file may be opened as if it were an ordinary spreadsheet; in Microsoft Excel open a blank spreadsheet and then use: Data|From Text/CSV.
